The Attractor Field Techniques (AFT) is a new model for mental health treatment, derived from a different conception of the Mind than the one held by Psychology and Psychiatry. Rather than viewing the Mind as a product of the brain, AFT sees the brain as reactive to the Mind.
I see that Psychological observations about human behavior are correct; however, I see how to change the Mind differently than traditional Psychologists do. People are not mice. Mice are the “gold standard” in Psychological research. Mice are not conscious; mice are purely reactive to external stimuli; they have a brain but are not self-aware. Ask yourself, have you ever met a depressed or grieving mouse? If you did, it was in the comics or a cartoon.
Have you ever wondered why the things that bother us happen in an instant but can take years to overcome, if you ever do? I think that the reason is that therapists and self-help techniques attempt to use the conscious mind to change itself, rather than to change the underlying energy that drives, defines, and delimits consciousness.
